Free Things to Do in KL

Not everything worth doing in KL costs money. This page is for the free stuff — and there's more of it than most people realise.

KL and Selangor have a surprisingly active scene of no-cost activities: community art exhibitions that don't require a gallery ticket, outdoor markets where the entry is free even if you end up buying lunch, park runs and fitness meet-ups that just need your presence, public talks and creative workshops hosted by spaces trying to build community, and cultural celebrations that spill into the streets without a barrier in sight.
